Extended School

We are able to offer for 6 children at each end of the school the opportunity to 'buy back' extra sessions and have a full day and lunch in school with the other children in their class. This is a pilot scheme at the moment but will be particularly useful for parents who have not been offered full time places and are working or studying or who may just wish their children to experience a full day in school. From September 2008 we will be able to offer this facility in each class.

The cost for each extra session will be £11.50 which is in line with LA pricing policy. We are unable to offer any subsidised places but we can give advice to parents who want to access Tax Credits or other benefits to offset the cost. You can chose which days of the week suit you but we will ask parents to book regular days and these will need to be booked a term in advance. As places are limited bookings will be made on a first come first served basis.

We are also continuing our successful breakfast and after school scheme (known as 'Froglets').
Breakfast Club runs from 8.00 - 9.00 and After School from 3.00 - 5.30. The cost per session is £3.00 for Breakfast Club and £8.00 for After School and includes the cost of a light, healthy meal.
All our extra services are supervised by staff who work in the school and places will need to be booked in advance.
