School Times
Part time morning children come from 9.00 - 11.30
Part time afternoon children come from 12.30 - 3.00
Full time children come from 9.00 - 3.00
Please try to bring your child on time. Arriving late sometimes makes it difficult for your child to settle in and they miss valuable learning time. If you are going to be late, please let us know.
It is very important that we know who is collecting your child from school. If you have to make a change in arrangements please let the class teacher know in advance. If arrangements have to be made at short notice, please phone school so that we can let your child know. Please make sure that we have a daytime phone number so that we can contact you in an emergency if it is necessary.
Term Dates
The following dates have been agreed for the 2007/2008 school year:
- Term 1 Monday 3 September to Friday 19 October 2007
- Term 2 Wednesday 31 October to Wednesday 19 December 2007
- Term 3 Thursday 3 January to Friday 15 February 2008
- Term 4 Monday 25 February to Friday 4 April 2008
- Term 5 Monday 21 April to Friday 23 May 2008
- Term 6 Monday 2 June to Friday 25 July 2008
The school year is based on a calendar of 195 days. Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that schools will be open to receive pupils for the legal minimum of 190 days (380 sessions). It will be necessary for parents and other individual parties to contact individual schools direct for confirmation of the 5 dates when they will be closed to pupils.
