What do we do?

We offer a broad curriculum and a range of rich and exciting learning opportunities supported by qualified and experienced staff. We extend and challenge the children's developmental needs through active learning and practical 'hands on' experiences.
The children are encouraged to plan activities, make choices, organise resources, discuss and review what they have done.
There are opportunities throughout the day for children to talk, listen and be listened to.
We offer a specialist Language Support group for children who need a bit of extra help in developing their Language and Communication skills.
Staff teams plan regularly using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum guidance as a framework. The following areas of learning are covered:
- Personal, social, emotional development.
- Communication, language, literacy.
- Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy.
- Physical development.
- Creative development
- Knowledge and understanding of the world.
You will be able to see plans for your children's experiences, the activities they will engage in, the resources they will use and how adults support them on display in the classrooms and the corridors. You may have some questions to ask or some ideas about how to support your children's learning.
Talk to staff teams - they will be happy to help.
